Our Impact
The impact of Oasis Community Projects is felt across the entire Kannaland region, where the organisation serves as a “vital engine for community development”. By moving beyond basic relief toward skills development and economic independence, the organisation creates a lasting legacy of rural upliftment. Founded in 1993 in the village of Van Wyksdorp, Oasis has grown from three small projects into a widespread network of support. Today, our reach extends throughout Ladismith, Zoar/Amalienstein, Calitzdorp, and Oudtshoorn, providing essential capacity to clinics, schools, police stations, and other local NGOs.
Our Community Development Nutrition Centre (CDNC) is our busiest hub, serving as a critical frontline against food insecurity. Through our “Partnership-First Approach,” we bolster the capacity of local institutions by placing skilled talent where it is needed most. Supervised Aftercare: Our program provides a haven for school-going children, offering homework assistance and educational games to improve academic performance
